Аннотация
Экономика любой страны сильно зависит от энергетики. Однако аспекты её влияния всё ещё изучаются мировыми научными, инженерными и политическими умами. Настоящее исследование посвящено анализу зависимости экономического роста от потребления наружного освещения в общественных местах (таких как парки, скверы, дороги, улицы и набережные). Взаимосвязь между энергопотреблением для целей освещения и экономическим ростом была исследована с помощью метода временных рядов, используя данные о годовом энергопотреблении за период 1970–2019 гг. Согласно анализу, проведённому с помощью метода временных рядов в статистической программе Eviews, было замечено, что существует обратная причинно-следственная связь между потреблением энергии для целей освещения и экономическим ростом в Турции. Энергопотребление для целей освещения увеличивалось прямо пропорционально показателю экономического роста. Это показывает, что энергопотребление для целей освещения и ночное времяпрепровождение связано с экономическим ростом.
