Цзянтао Ду (Jiangtao Du), Ph.D. (2011) в настоящее время является профессором Школы архитектуры Ливерпульского университета, Великобритания. Он является дизайнером освещения и дипломированным инженером в международной профессиональной инженерной ассоциации, базирующейся в Лондоне (CIBSE) и членов общества света и освещения SLL. Его научные интересы включают свет и здоровье, проектирование естественного освещения и световое загрязнение. Его текущие исследования сосредоточены на изучении того, как вид, цвет и условия освещения влияют на здоровье и состояние человека в рабочих и жилых помещениях

Стив Шарплз (Steve Sharples), Ph.D. Возглавляет кафедру устойчивого экологического дизайна в Школе архитектуры Ливерпульского университета, Великобритания. Он является дипломированным инженером в международной профессиональной инженерной ассоциации, базирующейся в Лондоне (CIBSE) и членом общества света и освещения SLLОбласть научных интересов включает влияние окружающей среда на производительность зданий в контексте изменения климата, низкого углерода и экологического дизайна. Он работал в широком спектре предметных областей, включая энергетику, тепловой комфорт, вентиляцию, естественное освещение, шум, изменение климата и экологический дизайн

Аннотация
Осаждение загрязнителей воздуха на остеклении может существенно повлиять на пропускание естественного света через оконные проёмы в зданиях в городских районах. Это исследование представляет собой имитационный анализ влияния загрязнения воздуха и коэффициента пропускания остекления на проникновение естественного света в помещения офиса открытой планировки в Лондоне. Вопервых, были разработаны и оценены прямые связи между коэффициентом пропускания остекления и условиями естественного освещения. Во-вторых, было разработано несколько простых алгоритмов для оценки потери естественного света из-за осаждения загрязняющих веществ на внешней поверхности вертикального остекления. Наконец, были разработаны некоторые выводы и проектные стратегии для сопровождения планирования фасадов на ранней стадии проектирования городского строительного проекта.
