Член правления Турецкой национальной комиссии по освещению. Научные интересы: внутреннее освещение, восприятие пространства, зрительный комфорт и восприятие цвета

Аннотация
При проектировании освещения главной задачей является обеспечение здоровых условий окружающей среды, что связано с рассмотрением вопросов энергоэффективности, стоимости, технического обслуживания и качества. Применительно к архитектурным объектам и интерьерам следует использовать ориентированные на потребителя осветительные установки. Очень важное значение имеет обеспечение потребителя возможностью управления освещением в части изменения освещённости и цвета освещения, что позволяет изменять атмосферу внутри помещения и влиять на настроение потребителя. Стандарты и нормы освещения следует оценивать с учётом этих обстоятельств. В статье предпринята попытка анализа влияния световой среды на восприятие человеком окружающего пространства. Для этого проведено рассмотрение результатов нескольких экспериментальных исследований применительно к оценке и проектированию световой среды.
