Graduated from the Ivanovo Power Engineering Institute in 1981, Faculty of Civil Engineering, specialty – Industrial and Civil Engineering, qualification – Civil Engineer; North-Western Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (1997), specialty – “Jurisprudence”, qualification – lawyer. In 1988, he defended his Ph. D. thesis, and in 2007 – his HDR thesis. Member of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts, Full Member of the Russian Society of Civil Engineers, Advisor to the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences. Awarded the Certificate of Honour of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Specializes in the field of the theory of calculation of buildings and structures. The general list of scientific works includes more than 180 titles

Lyubov Yu. Gnedina, Ph. D., Associate Professor. She graduated from the Ivanovo Power Energy Institute in 1981, Faculty of Civil Engineering, specialty – PGS, qualification – Civil Engineer. In 1999, she defended her Ph. D. thesis. At present, she is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architectural and Construction Design and Physics of the Environment, NRU MGSU. Also, she awarded with an honorary diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and her specialization is in the field of thermo-technical calculations of building materials and building structures. The general list of her scientific papers is more than 70 titles

Svetlana V. Gerasimova, student of the NRU MGSU. She is studying at the Institute of Construction and Architecture in the direction of industrial and civil construction in the profile of reinforced concrete and stone structures

Abstract:
Part 1 provides general information about some of the physical properties of water, ice, and snow necessary to understand the non-stationary processes of freezing and thawing of enclosing structures of wet foundation soils.
Part 2 presents the physical and mathematical formulation of the problem of freezing of wet soil, the solution of Lyame and Clapeyron, the solution of Stefan, the physical and mathematical formulation of the problem of freezing of the ribbon foundation. The following are considered: description of the process of freezing of a single-layer enclosing structure considering the phase transformations of moisture in the material of the structure according to V.N. Bogoslovsky and the process of freezing of an unlimited plate considering the phase transformations of moisture in the material of the structure according to A.V. Lykov. Mathematical model of non-stationary heat transfer process in wet layered media. Based on the method of small-time intervals, solutions of boundary value problems for frozen and thawed zones in the region of large and small Fourier numbers are given. Prospects for the application of the proposed mathematical models to describe the processes of freezing and enclosing structures and foundation soils are outlined.
