Abstract:
Based on the idea that "cold light is architecture's phenomenological tool", this study explores the transformative role of light on the experience of space. Accordingly, cold light is not merely a lighting element; it is a design language that directly influences the way users perceive, experience, and existentially position themselves in space.According to the phenomenological approach, architecture is not merely a formal act but the shaping of human consciousness and sensory experience. In this context, cold light is one of the most effective tools an architect uses to design experiences. Therefore, cold light in architecture can be a powerful and phenomenological control tool that governs users' psychological and cognitive states.
