Dmitry V. Scums, physicist. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics of the Belarusian State University in 2006, from 2008 to 2021 he was a curator of National Standards in the field of photometry and colorimetry at the Belarusian State Institute of Metrology, currently – a consultant in metrology at the National Metrological Institute of Germany (RTV) and Deputy Chairman of TC1.7 “Photometry and Radiometry” COOMET (Euro-Asian Cooperation of State Metrological Institutions)

Abstract:

The necessity of creating standard lamps based on LEDs is substantiated. The process of creating and research of reference lamps based on cooled and uncooled LEDs is shown. The physical scheme is substantiating, the principle of operation and the main metrological characteristics of reference lamps based on LED COB are described.
